Love to hear REAL BISHOPS! God Bless Them All.

Has Bp. Strickland had his Vatican “visitation” yet, or not? Does anyone know?

I can’t say I know any details of either the visitator or what he is supposed to investigate in particular, but clearly Rome is uncomfortable about Strickland. And Rome has shown itself quite able to rid itself of both individual bishops (Bishop of Arecibo), and of whole convents of nuns, that they don’t like, more or less at one brush of the hand. They certainly DO NOT exercise the patience, care, and accompaniment that was extended to Hans Kung, Charlie Curran, and dozens of others, who typically had over 10 years to work out whether they were really not going to toe the Vatican line before the Vatican took any actual decisive action. Now, it’s about 4 months, and you’re out.

So, my suggestion is that Strickland might be in a position to just assume he is going to be canceled, and to jump out in front of the news by “coming out swinging”, i.e. with names and dates and stuff of all the cover-ups and corruption. Before the Vatican gets around to canceling him. But I doubt he will.

His Excellency seems a bit “liberated” or at least less guarded since the visitation was announced. In addition to issuing this statement, he’s participated in two public events in other dioceses to support the faithful: LA for a protest against the squad of trannies at Dodger stadium and my home turf in Cincinnati to lend his voice to a rosary rally to prevent abortion-on-demand language from being grafter onto the Ohio Constitution. In both instances the local ordinaries were conspicuously absent.

Wouldn’t it be great if lots of American bishops came out in support of Bishop Strickland? If they found the need to publicly support each other and to legitimately push back against the weaponization of the papacy against the Catholic Faith? And if large Catholic media conglomerates also came out in support of Bishop Strickland?

I know – I sometimes can’t help but let my imagination get carried away.

    As for the Vatican Visitors…
My sources tell me that the Good Bishop challenged both visitors to a cage match. Soon after, they were spotted being carried out on stretcher. Don’t mess with Texas.
