My View For Awhile: First leg

And so it begins.

Lord, thank you for this day.

The realization that I have forgotten a couple things just rolled over me. I shall have to remedy this with swift errands and/or orders. It isn’t mission critical but it’s pesky and should be easily remedied.

Lord, thank you for this day. Thank you for my readers and benefactors.

Sts Cosmas and Damian – my confirmation name saints – intercede in their favor with God for their true needs.

UPDATE

Can I just add that I thoroughly appreciate getting a text when my bag is loaded on the plane.

That must be new, text that your baggage made it on board. Thank God for small miracles.

In my previous life I travelled worldwide on a regular basis. In order to stop forgetting things, I made a checklist in my computer of items to pack and how to prepare my house for an extended absence. In the future, I just pulled them up and printed them out prior to each trip. It was a big help to me and my memory!

    Safe travels, Fr. Z!
