What is most interesting is that the papal mozetta is there. Francis refused it. He refused to ever wear it. But, its there in the expectation it will be used. I pray so.
And boxes of red shoes. Not sure what would be in the boxes on the table.

It really ticked me off when Francis walked out onto the balcony in only the
white robe- why is he not wearing the mozzetta and stole, I wondered…doesn’t the red signify he is willing to shed his blood for Christ and the Church?
Wouldn’t it be great if the new Pope called for the Papal Tiara for the installation… or crowning.
