My View For Awhile: “Almost heaven…” Edition

I’m northward bound for the annual conference for priests held by the St Paul Center for Biblical Theology.

It’s already been a long morning and it is not even 0500 as I write this.

At least at this time of day the roads are relatively clear of truck traffic.

I think I only forgot two things this time!

My bar is getting lower I guess.

UPDATED

The last stragglers are finally here.

UPDATE

A couple rarities.

First, we arrived early.

I don’t mean early in the morning. That would have been the case had we been merely on time.

We arrived 20 minutes ahead of schedule.

No wonder they claim good on time stats since they seem to build in extra time.

Second, this is the first time in many flights, it seems, that I haven’t had to trek from Gate R 165 to Gate B -56. This time arrival and departure are just 5 gates apart.

UPDATE

It’s not just a trip to Pittsburgh, it’s a trip back in time.

?

A girl wearing a tee that said “Deus Providebit” just boarded.

I provided for myself a book for this leg. A ripping page turner.

Good for visualization.

I’m using a pen sent by a reader – CG – from my wish list. Thanks.

Isn’t this fun?

UPDATE

LOTS of construction at PIT

But the large chicken skeleton is still there.

The roads… oy vey…
