Hope springs eternal… if I am not mistaken this is the SECOND audience in about 100 days.

In chessy news…. Fabi has taken the lead at the Sinquefield Cup in St. Louis by winning his second game in a row. Other games ended in draws.
White to move and mate in 2.

NB: I’ll hold comments with solutions ’till the next day so there won’t be “spoilers” for others.
Every family home, especially with children, needs a chess set.
My view when I came downstairs this morning:
Our youngest has entered his chess obsession stage. He was thoroughly beaten so I just gave him his oldest brother’s big book of chess puzzles, so he has something to study today. pic.twitter.com/7KTRj5i8Vq

Great news about Burke.
I will have to translate the Latin. Innocent XI is our kids homeschool patron. Praying to him, as my wife is about to have a baby any day now.
I am very glad Cdl. Burke is speaking to the Holy Father. His Eminence is a great example of how a prince of the Church should act. However, in remarks of the past and recently, I think His Eminence is mistaken about the SSPX and its standing in the Church. I wish he could have a good dialogue with someone who could argue persuasively for the Society.
The key to this puzzle is that Black’s King and pawn have no legal move.
So, if:
1. K-h column
If . . . . . . . . . . . . R-h6+
2. Q×h6#
Else
2. Q-g8#
And if:
1. K-f column
If . . . . . . . . . . . . R-f6+
2. N+f6#
And if:
1. K-g2
If . . . . . . . . . . . . R-g7 or g-8
2. N-f6#
Else
2. Q-g8#
A long answer to a short question!
