In chessy news…

From chess.com:

Argentina’s IM Faustino Oro has scored his first grandmaster norm after a stunning 6/7 start to the Legends & Prodigies 2025 tournament in Madrid, Spain. Only World Champion Gukesh Dommaraju has ever scored a GM norm at a younger age and, after smashing through the 2500 barrier, the 11-year-old now needs only two more norms to earn the grandmaster title. The “Messi of Chess” turns 12 on October 14 and still has five months to beat GM Abhimanyu Mishra’s record as the youngest grandmaster in chess history.

Black to move and mate in 4

Looks like no one has posted on this one so I’ll give it a shot.

    1) … Rf6

The idea is that from this position moving the black rook to the h file always leads to mate. However white is not in check here so has many options available and covering them all will be a bit confusing.

First note that if white moves any of the pawns, rooks or the king, black has immediately mate via 2) … Rh6 mate.

So that leaves moves by the white queen or knight. The 4 move mates involve the white knight as follows:

    2) Nf5 (or Nf7) Bxf5 (or Bxf7)
    3) Qxf2 Rh6+
    4) Qh4 (forced) Rxh4 mate

White could also extend to 4 moves without taking the black queen:

    3) Qe2 (or Qd1) Rh6+
    4) Qh5 (forced) Rxh5 mate

White capturing the black queen immediately without knight involvement leads to a 3 move mate.

    2) Qxf2 Rh6+
    3) Qh4 (forced) Rxh4 mate

Similarly Qe2 or Qd1 lead to 3 move mates with the queen captured on h5.

    2) Qe2 (or Qd1) Rh6+
    3) Qh5 (forced) Rxh5 mate.

All other moves by the white queen lead to immediate mate via
    2) Q.. Rh6 mate

Unless I have missed something that covers all white’s options. If you see other options or if I have made a mistake in the notation please let me know.
