Very cool.

It is much like the beautiful portable altars by St. Joseph’s Apprentice. The “Ultimate Priest Gift”.

Here’s an old post in which I unbox a portable altar which he sent me for my 15th anniversary. HERE One of several images:

And this… a smaller even more portable, with vestments that have a little antependium for the altar! HERE

Interim, motus ad lusorem cum militibus albis pertinent. Scaccus mattus, scilicet mors regis, duobus in motis veniat.

Super cool to see the mass kit of one of my favorite priest-martyrs.

He’s currently Blessed Fr. Miguel Pro, however, having not yet been canonized a saint (as I hope he soon will be).

Some years ago, a nearby Military base was downsizing’s and giving some items away. One of the Religious Brothers went to check it out. There was a trunk that was a for Military Chaplains to say Mass. Everything was included even Vestments. When Brother asked if he could take it, the soldier said, I can’t let you take it for “religious “ purposes. The.Officer in charged asked Brother if they have a Historical
display while nodding his head. Brother replied Yes! The soldier
    Okayed it.

  5. I was a little cryptic. It was the Feast of the Immaculate Medal when I posted this. Does that help?

  6. UncleBlobb says:

Father Z.: Might it then be because the statue is at the church of S. Andrea delle Fratte, which appears to also be known as Shrine of Our Lady of the Miracle (Santuario Madonna del Miracolo)?

  8. UncleBlobb says:

Father Z.: It appears to be have been the feast of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal on this day. On the website of the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Miraculo, in Italian, it lists that there is annually a special Mass of devotion to Our Lady at this church, and this web page is is HERE.

[And St. Maximillian Kolbe said his first Mass at the altar of the apparition to Ratisbon… and St. Max, also a ham radio operator, was a great promoter of the Miraculous Medal.]

Unless I’m mistaken: White to move and mate in 2.

I sure couldn’t find a mate in 2. Is there possibly an error in either my translation of the instructions or the problem layout? If anyone has solved this please post the solution.

    Mike

If anyone found a solution please post it as I’d really like to know how it is done.
