Dear Fr. Z.
A Very Happy, Holy, and Peaceful, Christmas be thine.
The Holy Priest at Mass, this morning, recounted how, when he was just a small child, he was so enamoured and impressed with the Shepherds, who had the privilege of being among the first to see The Infant Jesus, Second Person of The Blessed Trinity.
After this devout Priest had been Ordained, he suddenly realised that, every time he held the Consecrated Host at The Divine Mass, he was closer to The Infant Jesus, Second Person of The Blessed Trinity, than the Shepherds were, who did not touch the Infant.
Then, this devout Priest told all his Congregation at Mass, today, when you receive the Consecrated Host at Holy Communion, you are closer to The Infant Jesus, Second Person of The Blessed Trinity, than the Shepherds were, who did not touch the Infant.
“Consider”, he said. “And be thankful and glad”.
