CHRISTMASCAzT 2025 – 30 – St. Thomas Becket – Wherein Fr. Z rants

A series of 5 minute daily podcasts for the Octave of Christmas.

I rant for a while about St. Thomas of Canterbury, and Church and State and … shepherds.

Yesterday’s podcast HERE.

About Fr. John Zuhlsdorf

St John Chrysostom’s homily is in my old copy of the Stanbrook Abbey translation of the Roman Breviary, published circa 1936. I sent a copy of the relevant page as a pdf copy to your email address if you’re interested.

FWIW, your Christmascazts (and Adventcazts, Lentencazts, etc.) are a cherished part of my morning ritual. My only regret is that there is no Pentecazt. (But as my dear wife just said when I read the above to her “For the love of God, John, let the man have a breather.”)
