I’ve been following Giorgia Meloni for a little while, and when I caught up with the Christmas messages, I found her Sincere Wish to All Italians to be heartwarming, even for my non-Italian self. [Beware the English auto-dub which can be disabled for the original Italian audio.]
Furthermore, she was recently honored at the Margaret Thatcher Awards, giving her acceptance speech in English. This honestly brought a few tears to my eyes as I often wonder “whose side” I should be on, and who is truly concerned for my best interests, as a possibly “centrist” American voter who keeps an eye on Europe and the British Isles.
