A couple of months ago I began saying a Prayer for Enemies, that asks God to bless my enemies and to transform my heart and mind. However, I find that when I think of who my enemies are as the middle part of the prayer directs, I find myself reminded of what I think they have done to me and that has the opposite of the intended effect. It’s a problem.
