[NB: I’ll hold comments with solutions ’till the next day so there won’t be “spoilers” for others.]

I am trying to decide whether the circus music was added by the poster, or actually played at the Mass.
My heart grieves that the answer is not at all obvious.

The priest not wearing a (mandatory!) chasuble already made me think “oh dear,” but words fail me for what follows.

The penmanship in the last tweet is exceptional, handwriting definitely has deteriorated much in the last decades. I think ballpoint pens are one of the things we should blame for that. My own handwriting is much clearer when I use a good fountain pen.

While praying the rosary recently, the truth of Our Lady’s role as the essential and pre-eminent collaborator with her Son in the mysteries of redemption and as mediatrix of all graces of The New Covenant in Christ has been impressed on me with renewed clarity. I feel a corresponding sense of indignation and dismay at the recent statement on these titles by what should be one of the most trusted sources of church teaching. I wonder if the prelate concerned understands just how deeply he has outraged the sensus fidelium in many faithful Catholics, not to mention further distancing us from the Eastern Orthodox. Her Immaculate Heart will triumph. I just pray that it may be soon.

EAW: the handwriting is indeed superb. There’s quite a bit of commentary on it in the “X” thread – all in French, obviously.

There’s an amusing part where one commenter asked Grok if it was an AI job, and he (?) replied that it seemed to be a fake, saying that the date of “Monday 10 December 1941” is obviously false since that day was a Wednesday in that year – quoting that Pearl Harbour was Sunday 7th.

He (?) is swiftly corrected, the commenter saying: “Grok, the date is clearly 1st December 1941, not 10th”.

Whereupon the Omniscient One admits: “ooops, you’re right, my bad” – or words to that effect.
