UPDATE: A few days ago we tested a migration. It all went well. Now we have done the real migration.
A lot of links broke, especially to images. I am manually fixing them.
The look is the same. There may be some minor changes in functionality, but they will affect me more than you.
I’m not sure how the mobile view will be affected yet. One step at a time.

The link for the emergency blog doesn’t work, at least on my end.
Also when you say we are moving the blog and updating, does that mean you’re going to redesign, or is it more of software and system change?
Yeah… it did earlier today, but as part of the migration, that page went away.
Redesign… I hadn’t thought about it.
Personally I like the blog the way it is. I’m not suggesting that you redesign it, although I’m sure some people might like seeing a more streamlined design.

I tried to use a little shrug emoticon there, but it made the face a question mark… oh well.
I love the rotating banner art. When you redesign your site, I will miss them.
This is not a redesign of the blog. When it is migrated over to new digs, it will migrate as it is now. It’ll simply be on a better server.
If you’re taking suggestions, this place could really use some felt banners.
Smarticus Pantsicus!
Father Z earns the GOLD star today!
I am glad you are not changing the blog’s design. There is nothing I hate more that going to a site I visit frequently and find that the IT gurus have “improved” it so that now I have to re-learn how to navigate it. Sort of like going to a Novus Ordo Mass and find that the Liturgy Committee has gotten rid of the organ and substituted guitars. The blog should be like the Usus Antiquior that whenever you visit it, you know what to expect. End of rant.
@JonPatrick – I agree – it’s as bad as when they change the layout or swipe function on your smartphone or when you go to the grocery store after they rearrange everything. Grrrr…..!
