This applies to the Church as well as to the secular state.

I’ve used Fr. Delp’s reflections on Advent in podcasts before Christmas.

Dear St Therese as one of my favorites. I have relics of BOTH in my chapel.

Help the monks of Norcia and get really good beer.

Fr. Delp is a great favorite of mine, as is St. Maximilian Kolbe. Both were viciously tortured and murdered by the Nazis for defending the teaching of the Church and protecting victims of the Holocaust. Like St. Thomas More and so many other valiant and courageous saints, we need to promote them and imitate their selfless service to God and His Church.

We could add to Chiara’s comment that about 12,000 Polish priests were executed by the Nazi’s. Each one of them could have walked free by simply renouncing their faith. Please correct me si erro.

Great shot from TWBS… looks like the rooftop bar of Eitch Borromini hotel at Palazzo Pamphilij

Nice catch at a Phillies game. That’s why you take your glove to the ballpark.
Great to see kids enjoying life without using an electronic device.
