Double deckers are cute but I only had to ride in one once to discover that riding on top means that the laws of physics give you a slightly rougher ride than those on the bottom. As I am prone to motion sickness, I’ll stay down below thank you.
I’ve always wanted to try the upper deck on a British bus. It’s neat to at least see photos.
I like the updated photos of Fr. Finnigan’s parish. I wonder what it’s like, having a celebrity for a parish priest?

Speaking of double-decker busses-the first time I went on one was my first visit to England in 1987. I had two companions who ran me off my feet, and they climbed very nimbly to the top of the bus. I was struggling on the staircase; and when the bus lurched ahead, I nearly fell down the stairs! I grabbed onto the handrail for dear life! But I was better on my last visit in 1999, when I was able to get on the upper deck before the bus moved. Well, it WAS a tour bus!
